In this role you will:

  • Work as a team to assist arborists and fallers with all aspects of arboriculture/ tree work in residential, commercial and government settings including pruning, removals, cleanup/ feeding brush chipper, stump grinding, operation of skid steer and maintaining all equipment.

  • Participate in team meetings for safety and staff training.

  • Operate and maintain vehicles, machinery and power tools aligning with safe work procedures.

  • Maintain a safe work site, evaluating and controlling hazards to complete each job in the safest way possible.

Requirements:

  • You have previous employment or pursue activities which require strength and physical endurance (ie. landscaping, forestry, mountaineering etc.)

  • You are positive person that can take total accountability and responsibility for all aspects of your work and life (no blaming, shaming or complaining). We are all human and we make mistakes….as a team we are committed to owning and fixing our mistakes, no excuses.

  • Valid drivers licence with safe driving history is required.

  • Occupational First Aid Level 1 or higher is preferred.

  • Previous chainsaw experience preferred but not mandatory
